SPAA MISSION

Serenity Performing Arts Academy is a 501c3 performing arts organization whose mission is to provide equal access and exposure to the performing arts for children and families living in Northeast Houston and surrounding areas. SPAA has been serving the Northeast community since May of 2005.  We offer quality program activities for children living in Northeast Houston.

Lady Grace Omolola Dada is a diverse Vocalist and Music Director born on May 30 to choirmaster Isaiah B. Dada and Agnes O. Dada in Ibadan, Nigeria.  Upon moving to America at the age of three, her parents were committed to rearing her in the church and supported her enthusiasm for singing. This early upbringing was instrumental in the development of her spiritual walk and musical journey. Lady Grace stepped into her calling as Worship Leader and Choir Director at eight years old.

Music has always played an instrumental role in her life.  She began playing trumpet in middle school where she participated in the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands. She continued her involvement in the band throughout high school and later received a scholarship to Prairie View A & M University where she pledged Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority.   Grace’s educational accomplishments include an A.S. from Lone Star College-Kingwood, a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown, and an M.S. in Organizational Management & Leadership from Springfield College.

Lady Grace appreciation for music and the arts lead her to birth Serenity Performing Arts Academy (www.serenityarts.org) SPAA is a faith-based 501c3 performing arts organization whose mission is to provide equal access and exposure to the performing arts for children and families living in Northeast Houston and surrounding areas.  As Artistic Director of SPAA, Lady Grace facilitates workshops for vocal development, offers vocal training and development and spearheads the Performing Arts Summer Camp. Lady Grace is committed to her calling as Worship Leader.  She currently serves as the Music Director at SonRise Community Church in Houston, TX where she enjoys sharing her gift of singing.
